Genre: Young Adult Fatasy
Rating: ★★★.5
Tropes: Enemies to Lovers, Strong Female Main Character
I’m reviewing these books as a whole trilogy since they were short and not so sweet (pretty dark sometimes, actually) and each led into the next book. I was absolutely shook at some points of this trilogy—especially the betrayals that both Jude and Cardan pull on each other. The murders Jude commits also surprised me at first, but really made perfect sense for her character. I wanted a little more spice 🌶️, but I understand that this was meant for young adults. I was impressed by the author’s ability to make me both hate and fear Faerieland, but also want to be there in the middle of all the danger and drama – just like Jude. I wanted to be as crazy with knives and swords just like her, too. Maybe I’ll get back into Taekwondo for her.

I’m so glad you liked these books!! Did you read the Barnes and Nobles special edition of ‘The Queen of Nothing’??? If you didn’t, look it up. It contains Cardan’s letters to Jude. My absolute favorite part of the entire series was reading these letters at the end.
Omg no I haven’t–now I must. I was mad we never got to see them somehow.
